Rory Dunne
Rory Dunne studied as an actor in the Bull Alley Theatre Training Company before going on to complete his undergraduate degree in TUDublin (BMus Hons). Since graduating, he has been a member of the Wexford Festival Opera Factory, the Irish National Opera ABL Aviation Studio and a company artist for Cork Opera.
Rory regularly works with opera companies throughout Ireland including Irish National Opera, Wexford Festival Opera, Cork Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, Blackwater Valley Opera Festival, Lyric Opera Productions, Opera Collective Ireland and Opera in the Open. He has been awarded bursaries and awards from multiple organisations and competitions including Feis Ceoil, Navan Choral Festival, The Bernadette Greevy Award, Blackwater Valley Opera Festival, Sligo Feis Ceoil, The Glenarm Festival of Voice and TUDublin.
Past roles include Gugliemlo (Cosi fan tutte), Falstaff (Falstaff), Colline (La Boheme), Betto di Signa (Gianni Schicchi), Germont (La Traviata), The Mikado (The Mikado), Cover Escamillo (Carmen) and Monterone (Rigoletto).
