BBC Radio 3 recitals from the Festival of Voice 2021

This year’s BBC Radio 3 recitals were recorded in Belfast at the end of August, where our annual celebration of voice and song, The Festival of Voice, had relocated temporarily from its home of Glenarm due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The recitals are now scheduled for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 at 1pm each day from 19-22 October 2021.

Listen to soprano Elizabeth Watts, mezzo Kathryn Rudge and baritone Ben McAteer (winner of the first Glenarm Festival of Voice in 2010) with pianist Simon Lepper as they perform works by Harty, Boyle, Rachmaninov, Elaine Agnew, Reynaldo Hahn, Gerald Finzi, Roger Quilter, Mahler, Schumann, Delius, Strauss, Copland, Ned Rorem and Britten.
