The winners of the Glenarm Festival of Voice are selected in a thrilling Competition Finale.

Northern Ireland’s Opera’s 14th Glenarm Festival of Voice concluded last night with a thrilling finale where five opera singers selected from applications from across the island of Ireland sang arias, ensemble pieces and Irish Song.

This year’s finalists were sopranos Zoë Jackson and Hannah McKay, tenor Peter Thomas O’Reilly and baritones Seamus Brady and John Johnston, and this year’s Peter Rankin Piano Intern was Orlaith Sharkey. Find out more about all the finalists by clicking here.

  • The winner of the Deborah Voigt Opera Prize and the NI Opera Young Opera Voice of 2024 is soprano Zoë  Jackson.
  • The winner of the Song Prize is baritone Seamus Brady
  • The winner of the Kathryn Harries Audience Prize is soprano Hannah McKay
