BANNED IN 1715. JUST AS SCANDALOUS IN 2019.
La Dirindina is headed for a stellar career on the opera stage. At least, that is what he has been told, and who wouldn’t trust a lecherous singing teacher and an overly ambitious colleague with dubious motivations.
Join us for La Dirindina’s adventurous journey to La Scala (sort of) with a scandalous libretto by Girolamo Gigli, set to music by 18th century composers Domenico Scarlatti and Giovanni Battista Martini.
Performed by the NI Opera Studio and an instrumental ensemble.
