This very popular morning musical event, brought to you by Northern Ireland Opera, features a stunning selection of opera’s best-loved arias, captivating duets, and timeless songs, alongside some hidden gems. Directed by Northern Ireland Opera’s Artistic Director Cameron Menzies and performed by principal artists and artists in development from the company, ‘Morning Melodies’ is a must-see event, showcasing artists from our Chorus Development Programme. A new venue for Morning Melodies! Come and enjoy an hour of beautiful music with arias, duets and song from opera and music theatre in the Holywood Old School performed by Rebekah Devlin, Laura Francisca Shaw, Daniel Anti and pianist Frasier Hickland.

The Observatory, Grand Central Hotel, Belfast on 10 June and 1 July from 11am to midday
For the first time Northern Ireland Opera will be performing in the beautiful surroundings and incredible views of The Observatory at the Grand Central Hotel, with two events in June and July showcasing Northern Irish opera talent in this spectacular, landmark hotel. On 10 June, the performance will feature mezzo soprano Jenny Bourke on 10 June and on 1 July soprano Mary McCabe: they will be joined by other NI Opera artists who will be announced soon.
