Adam Ashford
Adam is from Bangor and trained in professional dance and musical theatre at Urdang Academy (graduating 2016) where he studied a multitude of styles of dance.
Since then he has made a career as a teacher, choreographer and dance/movement artist on stage and screen across the Uk, Europe and USA.
A number of his recent credits include Elf/ backing dancer for Rita Ora in ‘Too Much’ 2025 Universal and Netflix (Lena Dunham, Alicia Macdonald), as movement artist for VFX in ‘The Watchers/The Watched’ 2024 Warner Bros, New Line Cinema (Directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan), as Pierrot in ‘The Showman is Coming’ 2023 UK and Netherlands tour (Peter Corry Productions) and as dancer in ‘Disenchanted’ 2022 Disney+ (Adam Shankman).
Last year he choreographed ‘The Night Before Christmas’ at the MAC Belfast which was included in The Stage’s list of “Top 50 UK Shows of 2023”. Adam first worked with NI Opera in Die Fledermaus 2019, again in La Traviata 2022 and he is looking forward to joining the company again for Eugene Onégin.
