Adam Ashford

Adam originates from Bangor and has worked professionally as a dancer in tap, jazz, ballet, street and contemporary dance. Adam trained in professional dance and musical theatre at the Urdang Academy where he received a BA Honours degree and since then has had the pleasure to work on stage and screen across the UK and USA. A couple of his recent credits include a new contemporary dance triple bill piece ‘CHAPTERS’ performed at Vault artist studios and last year working on a new Disney+ original film ‘Disenchanted’ (Adam Shankman ‘Hairspray’ 2007).

This will be Adam’s third time performing with NI Opera ‘Die Fledermaus’ 2019 and ‘Desire’ 2020 (filmed performance over quarantine) and he hopes you enjoy their production of ‘La Traviata’.
