Amy Patton

From Belfast, Amy is a mezzo-soprano, in her second year at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (RNCM), under Antonia Sotgiu. She previously studied with NIO Associate Artist Jenny Bourke,

Amy has had choral training since the age of eight, progressing through the Belfast Philharmonic Kids, Youth and Chamber Choirs, the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland and most recently the Hallé Choir. Amy has performed in the chorus for RNCM’s ‘Love of Three Oranges’ – Prokofiev and ‘The Cunning Little Vixen’ – Janáček. She has performed in the Ulster Hall and Bridgewater Hall multiple times and taken part in local and international music festivals.

In 2025 she was invited to deputise and sing with the Banham scholars in Belfast First Presbyterian Church at their Carols by Candlelight Service. At the age of 12, Amy performed ‘Walking in the Air’ from The Snowman in the Waterfront Hall, accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra.
