Recent Winner of the ‘Deborah Voight Opera Prize’ at the Glenarm Festival of Voice, Anna Gregg is the ‘Northern Ireland Opera Young Opera Voice of 2023’. Anna is a Northern-Irish soprano, who graduated with distinction, from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she studied her BMus(Hons), MMus and MPerf under the tutelage of Sarah Pring.

Most recently, Anna has been performing in a production of ‘L’elisir d’amore’ – Donizetti with Longborough Festival Opera and covered the lead role of ‘Elena’ in the world premiere of ‘Elena and Gerardo’ – Bottini, with Random Opera earlier this season.

Anna has a particular passion for oratorio, has been fortunate this year to have sung the soprano solos in the following works with various choral societies in the UK: Mozart – Requiem, Mozart – Vesperae solennes de confessore, Fauré – Requiem, Handel – ‘Messiah’, Franck – Die sieben letzen Wrote Christi am Kreutz. Anna was thrilled to be an ‘Associate Artist’ with NI Opera last year, and was delighted to open their summer recital series in July as a soloist.
