Arlene Riley
Arlene Riley’s career in costume design has spanned from 2015, when she graduated in textile art design and fashion from the Ulster University Belfast School of Art.
Since then, Arlene’s professional career has grown in theatre, television and film. She worked on the multi award-winning series ‘Game of Thrones’, progressing to getting a place on Screen Skills Trainee Finder 19/20, where she worked on ‘Boys from County Hell’, ‘Tin Star 3’, ‘Frank of Ireland’ and ‘Dalgliesh’ Series 1.
In 2020 Arlene worked on the Irish speaking film ‘An Cailín Ciúin/ The Quiet Girl’, which was nominated for a Best International Film Oscar. Theatre has been a big part of her career. She has worked on Northern Ireland Opera’s productions of ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’ and ‘Tosca’. The Lyric Theatre’s Christmas production of ‘Hansel and Gretel’. GBL productions pantomime ‘Aladdin’ in Armagh, touring productions ‘The Bodyguard’ and ’42nd Street’ at the Grand Opera House and designing for Ulster Touring Opera’s ‘Barber of Seville’.
