Chris Kane

Chris is a Belfast singer, actor, and recent music graduate from the University of Edinburgh. He initially studied classical singing but expanded his horizons to musical theatre, folk, and other contemporary genres. In his final year, he was awarded the Andrew Bequest Prize in performance, scoring highest in his cohort for his recital ‘Love in Troubled Times’, which explored themes of love and loss during the Troubles.

While at Edinburgh, Chris enjoyed busking as well as being part of five-star productions at the Fringe Festival, with roles including George Seurat (‘Sunday in the Park with George’), Harry (‘Company’) and Owen (‘Translations’). He was also part of the Edinburgh University Singers, performing at the McEwan Hall, Usher Hall, and the Vatican City’s St Peter’s Basilica. In Belfast, he has performed in several concerts, including ‘The Music Box’ at the Waterfront and ‘Go the Distance’ at the Ulster Hall.
