Ciara McCartan
Ciara McCartan is a soprano who began her vocal studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin before completing a Masters Degree in Music performance at the TU Dublin Conservatoire where she studied with répétiteur Una Hunt and Colette McGahon-Tosh.
She has been awarded the T U Conservatoire Medal for French Song, prize winner at Ballymena and Portadown Music Festivals, and she has achieved success in traditional Irish performance, being awarded Antrim Scór Champion in 2015.
As a soloist, Ciara has performed as a recitalist for TU Dublin graduation ceremonies at St Patricks Cathedral Dublin and she has performed recitals in London, Dublin, Armagh, and Antrim. She is also a sought-after performer for weddings, private functions and special events.
In 2024, Ciara established her own singing School in Moira, where she provides vocal and music training supporting singers of all ages and abilities in developing their performance skills and musical confidence.
