Emily Danby

Emily has worked for many years as a Stage Manager, most recently as SM for Ulster Touring Opera’s Barber of Seville.

Theatre includes: Joyce’s Women by Edna O’Brien at the Abbey Theatre ( ASM) Stones In His Pockets by Marie Jones at the Lyric Theatre, (CSM) X’ntigone by Darren Murphy for Prime Cut (SM), The Border Game by Michael Patrick and Oisin Kearney, for Prime Cut/Lyric Theatre (ASM), Flights, for One Duck Theatre Company ( SM) ,Macbeth Without Words for Ludens Ensemble (SM) Assembly Festival Gala, (DSM), Hidden Door Festival- (SM/Theatre Coordinator)

Film work includes: Location Assistant- School of Good and Evil (2021) Dungeons and Dragon, Frank of Ireland and Elizabeth is Missing. Emily began working in Stage management in London, working at the Royal Court Theatre. She then moved to New Zealand for several years where she worked for New Zealand Opera and the Auckland Theatre Company.
