Erin Coghlan

Erin Coghlan is a professional Irish performer who trained at The Institute of The Arts Barcelona with a First Class BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre. She went on to further her studies with a First Class MA in Theatre Practice at University College Dublin in partnership with The Gaiety School of Acting in 2023.

Most recently she was an original cast member of world renowned Adam Garcia’s new dance production ‘Emerald Storm’ where she toured the UK. Her professional theatre and screen credits include; Emerald Storm UK Tour (Adam Garcia), Cinderella Pantomime (The Civic Theatre Dublin), Almost Never (CBBC), Shea & Hannah (21 Artists), Drawing The Ring of Steel (Kabosh Theatre Company) and See You in The Encore (Abbey Films).

Erin is a qualified ISTD Dance Teacher and has a wealth of teaching experience spanning over 9 years. A keen choreographer, her choreography continues to be seen on the world stage through the prestigious Dance World Cup where she is a previous Tap World Champion. She was also successful in furthering her screen acting training by gaining a place on the Louise Kiely Casting Intensive and The Bow Street Introduction to Screen Acting Course. When she is not auditioning, teaching or choreographing she can still be found within the industry Stage Managing and helping to organise dance competitions such as the annual Dance World Cup and GPAA Dang Collective.

Currently she is part of the Music Department at Maynooth University where she is a Lecturer of Musical Theatre. Erin is also part of the faculty at Doogan Dance Academy in County Antrim where she specialises in teaching dance and musical theatre to students from age 3 to 21. This summer she was the resident choreographer for ‘Teenage Stage International Summer School’ production of Footloose in The Moate Theatre, Naas.
