Gillian Lennox
Gillian Lennox graduated with a BA Honours In Fashion and textiles and has worked in both Fashion and Costume design for over two decades. Gillian had a 14-year career within the fashion industry with a London based Manufacturing/Design Company. Her designs for ASOS were often featured in magazine editorials. Her work took her overseas to Paris, Syria, and Morocco where she gained insight into the entire process of textile design, garment, and pattern construction.
Gillian was Head of Costume for The lyric Theatre for 7 Years from 2017 to 2024, supervising all producing shows along with designing the costumes for multiple productions including, Good Vibrations – New York, Irish Arts Centre and Little Women with both shows winning best Costume Design through Broadway Ireland Awards
Gillian has also been a costume maker for screen and stage and was the designer/maker for Mid Ulster Council’s Living History Programme. Gillian has facilitated costume workshops with Linen Mill Studios, University of Ulster and NI Opera.
Gillian’s most recent design credits include, Good Vibrations – New York, Irish Arts Centre/Lyric theatre (Broadway Ireland winner for best Costume Design 2023) Tosca – NI Opera, Little Women – Lyric Theatre (Broadway Ireland winner for best Costume Design 2024), Short film – The Hand, Little Amal – Belfast 2024, Onegin – NI Opera, The Adventures of Red Riding Hood – The Mac Theatre & Murder For Two – Bruiser Theatre.
