Helene Hutchinson-Murray

Soprano Helene Hutchinson-Murray was born in Dungannon, Co.Tyrone. Helene began her vocal studies as a young student with Daniel Mcnulty & later went on to study classical singing & opera on The Advanced Vocal Studies Programme at The DIT Conservatory Of Music & Drama under the tutelage of Edith Forrest & Colette McGahon-Tosh. Helene received distinction in the Trinity London Guildhall Diplomas and then began singing on the professional stage with Opera Ireland, Opera Theatre Company, Glasthule Opera & as a soloist for many choirs including St.Peter’s Male Voice Choir, Drogheda Male Voice Choir, Setanta Choir Dundalk, Dungannon Choral Society to name a few.

Winner of many prestigious awards and bursaries nationwide, including The RTE Sligo Feis Ceoil Lyric FM Bursary & numerous 1st Prize awards in Dublin’s Feis Ceoil, Helene has a vast range of repertoire which she regularly performs at concerts in venues such as Castletown House, Droichead Arts Centre, St. Peter’s Church Of Ireland, The John Field Room, The Hill Of O’Neil, Hugh Lane Gallery & High Lanes Gallery.

In recent years Helene has performed many times at The Festival Of Russian Culture and most recently has enjoyed collaborating with pianist Siobhan Kilkelly with whom she sang at the prestigious Margaret Burke Sheridan Memorial concert in Mayo to great acclaim.
