India Chapman Webb

After graduating with honours in singing performance from the Conservatoire of Music, Paris, in 2009, India went to Rome to do her Masters in Early Music Vocal Studies studying under Doris Andrews at the Accademia Internazionale delle Arti. In 2011 India moved to Brussels to study with Stephan Van Dyck and Ludovic de San – whilst there she sang with various early music ensembles including Laudantes Consort (Guy Jansenns) and Currende (Erik Van Nevel) Leaving Belgium in 2017, India and her family relocated to London where she sang with RSVP voices recording music for both film and television.

In 2019 she moved to Belfast where she sings with the Belfast Cathedral Choir & The Ulster Consort under the direction of Matthew Owens. India continues her studies under the world-renowned counter-tenor, Andreas Scholl. When not performing, India teaches singing and flute at The City of Belfast School of Music and Hunterhouse College as well as privately. She has been a member of the NI Opera Chorus since 2023.
