John Gillen

John Gillen is a drummer based in Belfast and has been an active member of the local music scene for almost 20 years. A graduate of the Drumtech Master Performance Course in London, John studied under the tutelage of Darryn Farrugia.

John has also participated in masterclasses with Mike Johnston, Ash Soan (Robbie Williams, Adele) and Mark Guiliana (David Bowie, Avishai Cohen). This inspired him to explore different music genres and encouraged him to tour Europe with various rock and metal bands and more recently, for Belfast Blues legend, the late, Rab McCullough.
