Kathryn Bingham

Kathryn Bingham is a soprano from Omagh, Northern Ireland. Beginning her second year of Music studies at Queen’s University Belfast, with a focus on Classical Singing, Kathryn is taught by Jenny Bourke.

Kathryn received her early musical education at Omagh Academy, where she was actively involved in both vocal and instrumental tuition, as well as a range of school productions. She has also performed extensively with choirs and orchestras, including New Irish Arts and Omagh Community Youth Choir, developing a broad experience in ensemble singing.

Her instrumental and vocal achievements include Distinction in Grade 8 Classical Singing, Grade 8 Piano, and Grade 7 Violin.

This production marks Kathryn’s first collaboration with Northern Ireland Opera, representing an exciting step in her developing performance experience in the operatic field.
