Lauren McCann

Lauren McCann is a soprano from County Down. She is an alumni member of Flynn Performing Arts. Lauren gained a First-Class Honours in Music Performance from Queens University Belfast (2020). Lauren completed her Masters in Music Performance (Vocal Studies) at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with vocal tutelage from Lynda Lee and Dearbhla Collins (2023).

As a soloist, Lauren has performed Mozart’s “Exsultate, jubilate” with the National Symphony Orchestra. She has been successful in many feiseanna across Ireland winning competitions such as “Soprano Solo” at the esteemed ESB Feis Ceoil. Lauren has performed in venues including the Irish Embassy in Paris and Leopoldskron Castle in Salzburg. In 2025, Lauren played the role of ‘Cosette’ in the UK amateur première of Les Misérables in association with Cameron Mackintosh MTI at the Grand Opera House.
Lauren has performed frequently with the Baroque ensemble ‘Sestina’ and is a member of Chamber Choir Ireland Studio,
