Linda Britten
Linda Britten is a well-established name throughout Australian and international arts and fashion associations. Her detailed, feminine approach to couture has made her one of the most highly sought-after Australian labels. Britten has accumulated numerous honours and distinctions throughout her long and successful career, including the title of Australian Fashion Designer of the Year. Her celebrated creations include bridal gowns, ready-to-wear collections, bespoke couture, performance pieces, and clothing for royalty in the arts and fashion. Britten actively works in collaboration with many Arts based events and programs and has continuous involvement in Arts performances and events, providing ongoing support to Victorian Opera, The Australian Ballet School and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. One of Linda Britten’s more recent projects was the creation of meticulously designed performance gowns for The Woven Song in collaboration with renowned Aboriginal Australian soprano, actor, composer, and playwright Prof. Deborah Cheetham AO.
