Matthew Jeffrey

Matthew trained at the Lyric Theatre’s Drama Studio programme whilst studying at Queen’s University Belfast. He sits on the Board of Tinderbox Theatre Company and performs with St. George’s Choir, Belfast, Voices of Ireland and various other musical ensembles.

His theatre credits include: The Flying Dutchman (NI Opera, Grand Opera House, 2012/13); Our Country’s Good (Drama Studio, Lyric Theatre, 2013); L’elisir D’amore (NI Opera, Irish tour, 2013/14); Catchpenny Twist (QUB, Brian Friel Theatre, 2014); Medal in the Drawer (QUB, Brian Friel Theatre and Irish tour, 2014 / 2019); Pains of Youth (QUB, Brian Friel Theatre, 2015); The King and I (Kaleidescope, Theatre at the Mill, 2019) and Calamity Jane (Fortwilliam MS, Theatre at the Mill, 2021) and La Traviata (NI Opera, GOH 2022).

He has been a member of the NI Opera Chorus since 2022.
