Michael Harrison

Michael studied piano at the City of Belfast School of Music and was educated at Sullivan Upper School and Queens University where he studied English and Music.

After some years in business, he qualified as a teacher and taught Music in St. Malachy’s College in Belfast before being appointed Head of Music at Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch. Michael is an experienced accompanist and repetiteur having worked with Opera NI and Castleward Opera as well as appearing on television and radio. He is also a percussionist and has performed with the Ulster Orchestra.
