Seamus Brady

Seamus Brady is a 4th Year student completing a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Studies in The Royal Irish Academy on Music, Dublin, studying with Sylvia O’Regan.

Throughout his academic studies Seamus has performed both as a soloist and within choruses, both in an operatic setting and in chorale settings, some of which roles include Chorus in ‘The Fairy Queen’ Purcell, ‘Silvano’ in RIAM’s ‘Calisto’ and most recently ‘Grimbald’ in RIAM’s ‘King Arthur’ by Purcell.

Seamus is a member of Gaudeamus Chamber Choir, Newry and has performed a number of roles in musical theatre productions with Newry Musical Society. Seamus is also an alumnus of Ulster Youth Choir and Ulster Youth Chamber Choir, as well as the Flax Trust Ensemble, Belfast. He performed in the chorus for NI Opera’s September 2022 production of ‘La Traviata’, and covered the role of the Baron, which he stepped in to perform on opening night.
