Sinéad O’Kelly is a versatile vocalist with decades of stage experience. Although most recently an alumna of Opernhaus Zürich’s International Opera Studio, where she played Rosina in their production of Il barbiere di Siviglia to wide critical acclaim,
Sinéad has also trained in both Musical Theatre and Pop, writes her own arrangements, and enjoys singing everything from Händel to Hozier and Billie Eilish to Bernstein. Sinéad studied at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio. Most recently she made a film of the music of William Vincent Wallace with NI Opera, and starred in Michael Gallen’s new opera Elsewhere, which was voted the Irish Times “Best of 2021”.
Coming up, she is producing and starring in an operatic triptych the state of her, touring a one-woman cabaret: Songs about Me!, and writing an album of indie folk songs about her native Belfast. Sinéad is also a freelance writer, and runs her own boutique agency, which helps artists to find financial independence.
