Wendy Ferguson

Wendy is from Derry. She gained a scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama London graduating with a Masters degree in Music (Performance), LGSMD, & BMus (Hons).

She has been based in London for the last 25 years performing roles in musical theatre productions in the West End, throughout the UK and internationally. Her roles include Alice Beane in Titanic (International tours); Mrs Brill in Mary Poppins(International tour); Mrs Brill in Mary Poppins (UK tour); Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre London); Carlotta in The Phantom of The Opera 25th Anniversary (Royal Albert Hall, London); Carlotta in The Phantom of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre, London); Widow Corney in Oliver! (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London); Honoria in Am Dram A Musical Comedy (Leicester Curve).

Her recordings include the 25th Anniversary production of The Phantom of The Opera staged at The Royal Albert Hall, London, where she had the honour of performing the role of Carlotta amongst a star studded cast. It was broadcast live around the globe to cinemas and the film is screened regularly on TV. Her performance as Widow Corney can be heard on Oliver! Live from Drury Lane staring Rowan Atkinson. Wendy performs regularly as a soloist in concerts and cabarets round the UK.

In 2022 Wendy was ‘Jack’s Mother’ in NI Opera’s ‘Into The Woods’ at the Lyric Theatre, which marked her first stage performance in Northern Ireland since she moved to London.
