Zach O Brien

Zach is currently in his final year at the MTU Cork School of Music on the BA in Musical Theatre degree. During his time training he played Joe’s dad in BAMT’s production of ‘Our House: The Madness Musical’ in The Everyman, Cork. He was also a featured vocalist in BAMT’s ‘Steppin’ Out’ in The Cork Opera House. He recently played King Florestant in Cork City Ballet’s Production of ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ in The Cork Opera House.

He was a Sondheim Festival Bursary finalist in the 2023 Sondheim Festival, Kilkenny. He has taken part in various workshops of new musicals which had performances in The Gate Theatre, Dublin and Smock Alley, Dublin. He has performed in many concerts in The Cork School of Music, including Liz Callaway’s ‘The Wizard and I’ in The Curtis Auditorium.
