‘Into The Woods’ nominated in three categories in the Irish Times Theatre Awards 2022.
NI Opera are delighted and proud to have received nominations from the Irish Times Theatre Awards for Best Production, Best Director (Cameron Menzies) and Best Set (Niall McKeever). NI Opera’s critically acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical masterpiece was staged in the Lyric Theatre in February 2022, soon after the pandemic restrictions at the end of 2021 were lifted.
This production was also selected by The Stage as one of their top 50 productions in the UK last year.

This production will be staged again in March 2023 for West Australian Opera in Perth, with Northern Ireland Opera’s creative team restaging the production with an Australian cast, showing to international audiences.
