‘Old Friends and Other Days’ premieres at the Belfast Film Festival

The interviews feature Director Cameron Menzies, opera singers Carolyn Dobbin and Mary McCabe, Chairman of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Liam Hannaway and Ciaran Scullion, the Head of Music for the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

We plan to make ‘Old Friends and Other Days’ available to view widely next year via a streaming service – more details coming soon. The film by Northern Ireland Opera and produced by Causeway Pictures features the music of William Vincent Wallace and William Balfe and was filmed in Belfast in March during the spring lockdown. The project was made possible by Renewal and Stability Funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
