In partnership with First Church, Belfast, as part of their annual Summer Recital Series, Northern Ireland Opera presents two free lunchtime concerts in this historic church in Belfast’s city centre.
This is the 29th year of the First Church’s Summer Recital Series which runs every Wednesday at lunchtime throughout July and August, with a free concert showcasing musicians from across the island of Ireland.
No booking necessary, free seating – doors open at 1pm with the concert beginning at 1.15pm each week.
- 26 July: ‘Le Chant des Fleurs’ with Anna Gregg (soprano), Cicely Hé (mezzo-soprano) and pianist Tristan Russcher – repertoire will include works by Purcell, Delibes, Handel and Mozart.
- 23 August: ‘A New Journey’ with Aaron O’Hare (tenor) and Tristan Russcher (pianist) – repertoire will include pieces by Vaughan Williams, Poulenc, Hughes, Moeran and Schubert.
