In partnership with First Church, Belfast and RIAM as part of the annual Summer Recital Series, Northern Ireland Opera presents two free lunchtime concerts in this historic church in Belfast’s city centre.
This is the 31st year of the First Church’s Summer Recital Series which runs every Wednesday at 1.15pm throughout July and August, with a free concert showcasing musicians from across the island of Ireland.
No booking necessary, free seating – doors open at 1pm with the concert beginning at 1.15pm each Wednesday through the summer.
Northern Ireland Opera will be performing on July 23rd and July 30th
- 23rd July: Soprano Zoë Jackson with pianist Bryan Evans – Songs of Love and Loss. Zoë was the winner of the Deborah Voigt Opera Prize at the 2024 Glenarm Festival of Voice
- 30th July: Baritone Seamus Brady with pianist Tristan Russcher. Seamus was the winner of the Song Prize at the 2024 Festival of Voice
