The Associate Artists were brought together by Northern Ireland Opera to bring live music safely to communities during this pandemic.
They have been performing around Northern Ireland since September 2020 and with a new cadre joining in September 2021 are now a permanent part of Northern Ireland Opera’s development programme.

Between September 2020 and February 2021 the Associate Artists worked with Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Women’s Aid, Inspire, Mindwise, Carers Trust, Surestart, seven of our partner schools, Ulster Orchestra, Belfast Festival, Imagine Ltd., Connswater Shopping Centre, Spark Opera and The Portico of Ards.
