Join Northern Ireland Opera at various locations along the Maritime Mile on Sunday afternoons for free pop-up performances by opera singers comprising an hour of arias, lieder, musical theatre or art songs.

These events are part of ‘Sundays on the Maritime Mile’ which are a series of free music events every Sunday at locations along Belfast’s historic Maritime Mile featuring opera, folk, bluegrass and jazz curated by SnowWater and funded by the Maritime Mile.

2023 Events

• 20th August, 2023, 12-1pm Musical theatre, jazz and cabaret songs with Jolene and Philippa O’Hara – at the SoundYard
• 27th August 2023, 12-1pm ‘Chorus’ performed by the NI Opera Chorus and pianist Frasier Hickland – Drawing Room, Titanic Hotel, Belfast
• 9 September 2023, 12-1pm Soprano Mary McCabe and Tristan Russcher perform at the Maritime Festival on the Maritime Mile
• 10 September 2023, 2.30-4pm The NI Opera Chorus perform on the main stage at the Maritime Festival on the Maritime Mile
